I keep a small herd of show quality goats who milk well.  I enjoy my goats immensely but my true drive is to breed the absolutely best Nubian Dairy Goat possible.  I know that will always be subject to different opinions but this is my goal and I am working hard to achieve it!   My interest in breeding began at a very young age while growing up on a small family operated farm/ranch.  I had an interest in animals that has never waivered.  I pursued that interest after high school by attending and obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from New Mexico State University in 1986.  I carefully plan each breeding and then cross my fingers hoping for the best.  After all, it is Nubians that I have chosen to work with and what a challenge they present!

Please make yourself at home and browse around.

Along with their own alfalfa field to graze during the day, I feed a very high quality alfalfa hay and a premixed grain.  I offer free-choice Golden Blend minerals and baking soda.  All animals in the herd have tested negative for CAE, Brucellosis and TB with the most recent results reported in June 2007 from WSU.  The entire herd was appraised on 9/17/06.  Those scores are reported on each individuals page.
